This is a 2019 Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute DC in Worn Ebony, and it’s an absolute little ripper. Stripped-back, lightweight and full of attitude, this is exactly what a great double-cut Special should be.
It plays brilliantly, with a comfortable neck and that immediate, lively feel these guitars are known for. Tonally it’s raw, punchy and articulate, with plenty of bite and character on tap — perfect for everything from gritty blues and punk through to classic rock and indie. No frills, just pure Gibson feel and sound.
Finished in Worn Ebony, it’s got a really cool, understated look that suits the model perfectly. Supplied with the original Gibson gigbag.
