A played-in Japanese Strat with plenty of life left in it. This 1986 Fender Stratocaster Standard comes in Olympic White, with three single-coil pickups, a rosewood fingerboard and a tremolo bridge.

It plays fantastically and sounds great — a proper working guitar at a very approachable price. It carries the marks of a long playing life, along with a possible refinish and some fretboard chipping from an earlier refret. Please read the Condition section and take a close look at the detailed photographs.

As with every guitar here at The Woodshed, it will be fully checked and set up before delivery or collection.

Preloved and played in, with various dings and marks to the body and neck. The Olympic White finish may be a refinish; originality is not confirmed. The word “Japan” has been scraped off the headstock.

A previous refret was carried out poorly and caused chipping to the fingerboard when the old frets were removed. This has since been rectified: the frets are now correctly installed and secure, although the visible fingerboard damage remains. Please see the close-up photographs, particularly the fretboard images.

It plays fantastically and sounds great. It will be fully checked and set up in our workshop before delivery or collection.
