A bit of a cult classic amongst Gibson enthusiasts, the Les Paul Standard Double Cut combines classic Les Paul DNA with exceptional upper fret access and a slightly more modern feel.
This 1998 example is finished in the stunning Amber Sorrento finish, showing off a beautifully figured flame maple top that absolutely jumps out in person. These late-'90s Double Cuts have developed quite a following over the years, offering all the sustain, punch and richness you'd expect from a Les Paul, but with the added comfort and accessibility of the double cutaway design.
It's a lightweight, resonant guitar that feels lively in the hands and plays beautifully right across the neck. The original Gibson humbuckers deliver everything from warm, singing lead tones to punchy rock rhythms with ease.
Complete with its original Gibson hard case.

Great condition overall for a guitar approaching 30 years old and clearly one that has been very well looked after throughout its life. There are some minor signs of age and use as you would expect, along with some lacquer imperfections beginning to appear around the headstock area. These are purely cosmetic and surface-level only, with no structural concerns whatsoever. The frets remain in excellent shape and the guitar plays beautifully.
