Epiphone Emperor Swingster orange full body front view
This Epiphone Emperor Swingster is one of those guitars that just gets it right straight away — big hollowbody feel, loads of character, and that proper vintage-inspired look.
 
Finished in a vibrant orange, it’s very much in that classic rockabilly/jazz lane, but it’s more versatile than it first appears. The SwingBucker pickups have a bit more push than you’d expect from a hollowbody, so it’ll comfortably cover anything from warm, woody jazz tones through to brighter, snappier rockabilly and indie sounds.
 
It’s a fully hollow build, so it’s nice and resonant under the fingers, and the Bigsby-style trem adds that bit of movement and feel without getting in the way. Overall, just a really fun, inspiring guitar to play.
 
A great option if you’re after that Gretsch-style vibe without the price tag.

  • Very good condition overall.

    This guitar is in fantastic condition. The finish presents really well, and the back has a particularly nice bit of figuring through the maple which sets it apart slightly from others we’ve seen.

    Hardware shows very light ageing/patina, which suits the guitar nicely. Frets are in great shape with plenty of life, and it plays exactly as it should.
