A gorgeous example of Fender's Player II Telecaster, finished in a classic-looking Surf Green with a slab rosewood fingerboard.
 
The Player II takes the familiar workhorse Tele formula and gives it a few really worthwhile refinements. The Modern "C" maple neck has a smooth satin finish to the rear, while the rosewood fingerboard features rolled edges, a comfortable 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. It's immediately familiar, but with a slightly more refined, played-in feel than the original Player Series.
 
A pair of Player Series Alnico 5 Tele single-coils deliver everything you'd want from a good Tele – plenty of clarity and snap from the bridge, a warmer and rounder neck sound, and that brilliant middle position that works for just about anything.
 
The six-saddle string-through bridge makes accurate intonation straightforward, while Fender ClassicGear tuners retain the vintage appearance with modern reliability.
 
This particular guitar is in exceptional, near-new condition and has seen very little use. It even retains its original Player II pickguard sticker. A superb example that presents extremely close to new.
