This is a 2018 Fender TL-62 ’62 Telecaster, made in Japan — a superb modern take on the classic early-’60s Tele formula.
The TL-62 models are known for their vintage styling and consistent build quality, and this one absolutely delivers. It’s lightweight, resonant and feels great in the hand, with that familiar vintage-style neck carve and traditional Tele snap and clarity.
Plugged in, it gives you everything you’d expect — bright, articulate bridge tones with plenty of bite, and a smooth, rounded neck pickup that handles clean and driven sounds beautifully. It’s a proper no-nonsense Tele that just works.
Condition is excellent, showing very little sign of use. The frets are in superb shape with minimal wear. It has clearly been well looked after.
Supplied with a non-original hardcase, and it also comes with the ashtray bridge cover.
Built by Fender, the Japanese TL-62 reissues remain some of the most reliable vintage-style Teles available.
