Fender TL-62B Telecaster 2006 front view double bound sunburst
This is a cracking example of a Fender TL-62B ’62 Custom Telecaster, built in Japan in 2006. Finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst with double binding, this one absolutely nails the look and feel of a vintage-style Tele, but with a few very welcome upgrades.
It’s been fitted with Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups, which really lift the guitar — loads of clarity, punch and definition, with a slightly fuller neck tone than a traditional vintage Tele. It sounds fantastic and feels every bit as good, with a comfortable maple neck and rosewood fingerboard that’s nicely broken in.
Fully checked over here at The Woodshed and playing exactly as it should. A brilliant Tele that covers everything from classic twang through to more modern, dynamic tones with ease.

  • Excellent condition for its age. There are a few very light surface scratches and minor signs of use if you look closely, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. No notable dings or damage. Frets are in great shape and the guitar plays and sounds superb.
