A characterful early-’70s Japanese singlecut from a name you don’t see very often in the UK.
This Gaban Custom FLG600B pairs a black finish with multi-ply binding, block inlays and classic Custom-style looks. Its set-neck construction, twin humbuckers and familiar two-volume/two-tone layout make it a straightforward, enjoyable player, with plenty of vintage character.
It’s picked up its share of marks over the years, but the frets still have plenty of life and it plays and sounds great. It has had a full setup and service here at The Woodshed and is ready to go.
