A Gibson Les Paul Heritage Series Standard-80 in Tobacco Sunburst, with a nicely figured maple top, cream binding and trapezoid inlays. Dating from around 1980–82, the Heritage Series was one of Gibson’s early steps back towards the look and feel of a late-’50s Les Paul, before the later Historic Reissue programme.
This example presents very well for its age, with nickel hardware, Grover tuners and the small marks and edge chips you would expect from a guitar with a few decades behind it. The back is relatively clean overall.
Two cases are included: a period brown Gibson case with pink plush lining, whose handle is broken but supplied, and a Hiscox hardcase for safer storage and transport. Please see the Condition section and photographs for the wear and the limits of what has been established about originality.
