A seriously good Les Paul from what many consider to be a great period for Gibson, and one that's survived the last 35 years in quite remarkable condition.
Dating to 1991, this Les Paul Standard has everything you want from a classic Standard – a mahogany body and neck, carved maple top, rosewood fingerboard, twin humbuckers and that unmistakable Cherry Sunburst finish. The top on this particular guitar is especially lovely, with plenty of natural figuring and movement that really comes alive under the light.
There's not a huge amount else that needs saying about this one. It's just a wicked Les Paul. It feels right, sounds exactly as you'd hope and has that lovely early-'90s Gibson character that has made guitars from this period increasingly sought after.
Better still is the condition. For a guitar made in 1991, it's genuinely stunning. It has clearly been exceptionally well looked after throughout its life, with only very minor signs of age and use. The finish, hardware, plastics and back of the guitar all present beautifully, while the neck and fingerboard are equally clean.
Complete with its Gibson hardshell case with pink plush interior.
