Here’s a proper stunner from the golden-era USA production line — a 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Top in Heritage Cherry Sunburst, complete with its original hardcase. This one has that look… a ridiculously 3D, extremely lively flame top. Easily one of the nicest plus tops we’ve had through the shop.
It’s in excellent overall condition, especially considering it’s now 20 years old. You’ll find the usual light swirls in the clear coat — exactly what you’d expect from gentle use over the years — and the hardware has picked up a touch of natural tarnishing, giving it that lovely played-in Gibson look. Frets are in great shape with tons of life left, and the guitar plays absolutely beautifully. Big, authoritative Les Paul sustain with that classic warmth and bite.
