Here’s a lovely Korean-made Gretsch Electromatic G5125 in Black, complete with its unmistakable vintage charm. These earlier Electromatics have a proper cult following, and this one totally earns it.
It’s fairly clean overall, with just a small ding on the top left corner of the headstock (shown clearly in the photos). Aside from that, it’s been well looked after. The finish has that classy older-Gretsch sheen, the hardware has settled nicely with a slight natural patina.
It comes housed in a Stagg hardcase, fits well, and keeps it protected. At 6.61lb, it’s a cracking hollow body weight too — comfy on a strap but still substantial enough to resonate properly.
A great-looking, great-playing piece of Gretsch history.

Very good condition overall.
A small ding on the top-left front corner of the headstock (clearly shown in photos). No major chips, cracks, or buckle rash. Light age-related patina on the hardware and extremely light surface swirling in places, exactly what you’d expect from a well-kept older Electromatic. Frets clean, neck tidy, Bigsby smooth.
