A very cool, stripped-back hollowbody from Ibanez, the AF71F takes the classic jazz-box formula and keeps things refreshingly simple. Finished in gloss black with cream binding, a tortoiseshell-style pickguard and traditional trapeze tailpiece, it has a lovely understated vintage look.
 
The big difference here is the single neck-mounted pickup and simple volume and tone controls. It gives the guitar a warm, rounded and woody character that suits jazz and blues beautifully, while still having enough clarity and definition for cleaner chord work.
 
The fully hollow body, floating bridge and classic F-holes give it that traditional archtop feel, while the single-cutaway design makes it a little more practical further up the neck.
 
This example is in excellent preloved condition. From the photos there are only very minor signs of previous use, with the glossy black finish presenting particularly well overall. The hardware, binding, fingerboard and frets all look nice and clean.
