Built at FujiGen, the AZ2204NW combines classic ergonomics with modern precision engineering. The alder body provides balance and resonance, while the S-TECH roasted maple neck feels incredibly smooth and stable. The AZ Oval C profile sits beautifully in the hand, and the 9"–12" compound radius rosewood fingerboard makes everything from chord work to fast lead playing effortless.
The Seymour Duncan Fortuna HSS pickup set offers superb clarity and dynamic response, and the dyna-MIX9 switching system with Alter Switch unlocks nine tonal variations — including series options that simulate fuller humbucker-style tones without losing articulation. It’s hugely versatile but intuitive to use.
Hardware is equally refined, with a Gotoh T1702B tremolo (brass saddles and block) and Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners with H.A.P., keeping tuning stable and the feel smooth and responsive.
