It has a solid Sitka spruce top paired with Martin's high-pressure laminate mahogany-pattern back and sides, the LX1 produces an impressive amount of volume and clarity for its size, with plenty of warmth and projection.
 
This example is in excellent condition overall, showing only one small cosmetic ding to the top as pictured. It has been fully checked over, professionally set up in our workshop and plays beautifully.
