Hand-built in the UK, this PJD Carey Standard pairs a grain-visible Light Green finish with some excellent hardware and a particularly useful pickup combination. An ash body is matched to a quarter-sawn roasted maple neck and maple fingerboard, with a Standard C profile and a 10–12 inch radius.
A Bare Knuckle Old Guard P90 at the neck and Old Guard humbucker at the bridge give you two distinct voices to work with. Gotoh hardware, a hardtail bridge and Jescar 55090 frets complete a thoughtfully put-together instrument.
Serial number 709, this example presents very cleanly and comes with its fitted PJD hardcase and original specification booklet. A lovely bit of British guitar building, ready for its next home.
