A late-issue Tokai AST-52 “Goldstar Sound,” finished in classic gloss black with a rosewood fingerboard and vintage-style tuners. This one’s been fitted with a modern EMG SLV pickup set — an active upgrade that brings tighter clarity and a slightly more compressed voicing than traditional single coils. The original 5-way switching remains, now paired with low-impedance pots and the expected EMG quick-connect system tucked neatly under the pickguard.
 
With a comfortable C-shaped neck, and a naturally aged maple neck. It's well-crafted, no-frills, and tone-forward. The vintage-style tremolo bridge features brass saddles for added warmth and sustain.
