A seriously cool semi-hollow from Washburn, the HB32DM takes the familiar double-cutaway format and gives it a much more stripped-back, vintage-inspired look.
 
Built around a mahogany semi-hollow body with a solid centre block, set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, it's a warm and resonant guitar while still having the sustain and practicality you'd expect from a centre-block design.
 
A pair of open-coil humbuckers are paired with the traditional twin volume and twin tone control layout and a three-way pickup selector, giving it plenty of versatility for blues, rock, indie and everything in between.
 
One of the nicest things about the HB32DM is its Distressed Matte finish, complemented by deliberately aged hardware including the Grover tuners, bridge, tailpiece and control knobs. It's a nicely understated guitar with plenty of character without looking artificially overdone.
At 7lb 12oz, it's also a comfortable weight for a full-sized semi-hollow.
